Take seasick medication the night before, if needed, for your St. Augustine fishing charter . Please arrive early for your fishing charter and pack light, taking as few coolers as possible for your food and drinks. Don't forget cameras, sunscreen, sunglasses, rubber soled shoes, hat, comfortable clothing and old rags or towels. You'll want to bring a spare container and leave it in your vehicle for your cleaned fish after the fishing charter.
Your inshore fishing or deep sea fishing our near shore fishing charter will leave on schedule. You should check with the captain the night before to discuss the weather, ask any questions, and verify the departure time. All bait and tackle are provided. You should bring your own food unless other arrangements for catering the trip have been made. Many customers graciously include the captain in their planning when packing provisions.
The captain will demonstrate the proper use of the rod and reel, as well as teach you how to bait and set the hook. The captain will also keep you in bait, gaff the fish brought in and unhook it, ice down your catch and keep the boat clean. Always attentive, the captain is dedicated to providing you with a memorable trip .
The captain will assist your party so you may take pictures of your catch and then clean, fillet and package your fish if desired.
